Siddhartha (Siddhu) is an 11-year-old boy who simply adores Dinosaurs and is a subject matter expert on all things Dinosaurs! He has a great sense of humor and can crack you up with his wit and jokes!
The cheerful life of Siddhu was completely changed when he was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2015 and underwent a 3-year treatment before being declared cancer free in 2017. Unfortunately, his Leukemia is back and he needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life.
Siddhu is of Indian descent – his family hails from Andhra Pradesh in India, since chances of finding a donor are higher with someone of the same ethnic background, we kindly request all to register themselves as donors with DATRI so that Siddhu can live a cancer-free life.
Registration as a Blood stem cell donor is easy. It requires a simple cheek swab. If selected to donate, the procedure is simple and comparable to that of blood donation. People who donate can go back to their normal life the next day.
